Solutions for management of Valvular heart disease
The treatment of structural heart disease, including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), has increasingly been incorporated into routine clinical practice. With Canon Medical’s innovations, including advanced MR, CT and Ultrasound solutions, you can safely conduct a range of procedures, supported by technologies that visualize the effects of disease, measure cardiac function, and provide imaging for easy vascular access when you need it.

3D TEE
The Aplio i-series volume matrix transducer enables you to acquire high-quality 4D volumes at a high frame rate. A host of advanced analysis tools allows for in-depth assessment of cardiac anatomy and function.
CT
TAVI Scans with vHP
Variable Helical Pitch (vHP) scan mode lets you combine ECG gated imaging of the heart with non-gated imaging of the aorta, from the subclavian arteries to the iliac arteries, for efficient procedure planning and reduced contrast dose.
“With vHP3 we can combine three separate scans into one enabling us to reduce contrast dose by approximately 20% compared to our previous CT system. This technology makes CT exams safer and quicker for our patients, it is easier to perform for our radiographers and it is more economical for our department.”

CT × HIT
CT TAVI Planning
CT Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) Planning makes it easier to assess the aortic valve and evaluate TAVI procedures in the pre and post-operative stages.
MR × HIT
MR QFlow
QFlow provides a quantitative analysis of velocity-encoded MR flow data. It contains multiple tools, such as automatic contour detection, to segment the LV and RV border, enabling you to perform quantitative analysis quickly and accurately.

Canon Medical’s Alphenix system
features advanced image-processing
technology and a multi-access
mechanism.
Alphenix family of angiography systems delivers efficiency for interventional cardiac procedures. Designed with maximum flexibility, minimal exposure and optimal image quality in mind, features like the freely-moving C-arm — deliver unprecedented patient access and ease of use.
High-Definition (Hi-Def) Imaging*
Using our novel Hi-Def imaging system shows that it can be safely used to improve visualization of coronary arteries and interventional devices in real-time with no observable increase in patient dose. Images obtained in the Hi-Def setting have a higher resolution and improved quality compared to standard imaging modes, allowing visual analysis of vessel anatomy and stent structure with a high level of accuracy.

Multi-modality Roadmap
3D fusion technology enables superimposition of 3D volume data on the live fluoro display. Fusion is possible using a C-arm acquired 3D dataset or importing a pre-procedural CT / MR study.
